Flaw

I kept “becoming better” – until I realized that it was all in vain. You’d always somehow find a flaw in me and I’d never be good enough for you. It was obvious that no matter the efforts, you’d still tell me I’m not up to your standards.

Maybe you never realized that, but your words harmed me more than anything ever did. For God’s sake, you’re my family and I needed you to be by my side. I needed you to be my support, not someone who puts me down.
