My mom is coming home today, so I spent most of the day cleaning and cleaning some more. The house looks amazing, but unfortunately, I won’t be picking her up until 10:30. With the time difference, it’ll feel like two hours later for her, so she probably won’t even notice much before I leave for work in the morning.  In typical fashion, I rearranged some of the paintings and furniture. I’m sure she’ll love it, but I don’t know why I always do that—it’s a compulsion.
