Meds

I agreed to go with my mom to Kaiser Permanente for her psychiatric appointment yesterday. It was the first time she opted for an in-person meeting instead of Zoom or online. She was in there for just 20 minutes before coming out and mentioning that they were lowering her medication dosage. She expressed, "I had no idea how much my grandma being at the house upset me, and I really needed medication to cope with it all."

I wondered if I unintentionally cursed my mother when I was in Indiana, not speaking to her. I called to inform her that my grandma might harm herself if only she could pull the trigger on the gun. While I was still in Indiana, my mom flew out, brought my grandma back to California with her, and after a short nursing home stay, she moved into my mom's home. It seemed my grandma's presence troubled my mom, worsening their already strained relationship. She drove my mom crazy, and I had to witness repeated meltdowns and arguments between them until she passed away.
