I keep adding more and more Christmas decorations to my mom's house, even though it could technically be complete by now. Every morning, I wake up early while it's still dark and sit in the glow of the lights, trying my hardest to get into the holiday spirit. It’s a bit of a challenge for me sometimes, even though I’m fully immersed in the season at work with all the festive energy at SeaWorld. But sitting there, surrounded by the warmth of the lights and the Christmas magic I've created, helps me slowly but surely feel more connected to the season. It’s like I’m slowly piecing together my own holiday vibe, one ornament at a time.
