Explaining tone in emails and texts is really hard because you can't hear my voice or see my face, which often leads to misunderstandings. This issue was even bigger when I tried to write my book. Trying to make it sound like me while adding detailed descriptions was tough. Without the natural way I talk to show my emotions and intentions, it was hard to let my personality come through. Balancing the rawness of my experiences with the need for clear and detailed writing was challenging, and it was really hard to do with just words on a page.
