A Heart

For the last 15 years I have played the Tin man. The Tin man is searching for a heart. Sometimes in life we get scared and can disconnect from our heart as a defense mechanism. We might even build walls to keep people out.

We need to tear those walls down and reconnect with our heart. Finding your passion and living vulnerably and compassionately (to include self-compassion!) leads to a fulfilling life and can serve as a compass when you start to lose sight of your path.

If you know me you would see I am one of the most giving people. I fin d it funny how somehow I have become the villain in my own story. Maybe it's the meds I'm on but, I'm feeling NOTHING!

Wizard: As for you, my galvanized friend, you want a heart. You don’t know how lucky you are not to have one. Hearts will never be practical until they can be made unbreakable.

Tin Man: But, I still want one.
