Back to the Future

I'm so glad I decided to grab a rush ticket to Back to the Future: The Musical yesterday, especially since it turned out to be a sign language interpretation day! Sitting right in front of the ASL interpreters was an incredible experience—watching them bring the performance to life with such emotion and expression was almost as amazing as the show itself. They didn’t just sign; they acted alongside the cast. I was so impressed that I looked it up afterward and learned they don’t tour with the show but prepare in advance using a script and video—hats off to them!  The show itself was a perfect blend of Grease-style nostalgia and cutting-edge technology, almost like being on the Universal Studios ride but in classic musical theater fashion. I’d kind of forgotten the story, but all the parts I remembered were there. The DeLorean scenes absolutely rocked, and yes—the car flew at the end! I loved every second, especially all the amazing 80s wigs!
