Bah Humbug

Today, I took down all the Christmas decorations in the house, packing away the lights, ornaments, and every bit of holiday cheer. The season is officially over, and after last night, so am I. It’s like flipping the switch from festive to…whatever this is—an empty, slightly sad clean slate. Honestly, this year isn’t starting off great. The magic of the holidays feels like a distant memory, replaced by this weird, unsettled energy. Here’s hoping things turn around because right now, it’s all feeling a little too ‘bah humbug.
