Closing

Today marks the final two shows of Velour, and I can’t help but feel a bit sad. I’ve watched it every week, and seeing it come to an end feels like saying goodbye to something that became a constant source of inspiration. It began rehearsals right around the time I started working at the playhouse, and witnessing the cast and crew bring this beautifully done show to life each week has been nothing short of uplifting. Velour helped pull me out of my slump and reminded me of the magic of theater and the drive to reclaim a bit of my own life. It’s bittersweet to see it end, but I’m grateful for the spark it reignited in me.
