Sea World

I love SeaWorld. As someone who has been in San Diego for a minute now, I look forward to the trips to this wonderful place where I could be face to face with a killer whale or swim with the dolphins (and I have). I used to go every week when I was in a treatment program PB. Yesterday I went with my sister and my 2 nephews as SeaWorld offered free veterans' tickets. It was a lot of fun for the few hours we were there. I think going anywhere with kids (although it can be frustration) is worth it to see the excitement on their faces. I mean where else are you going to be able to pet sting rays and Lepard sharks (well a few places, I guess). Sea world has had a bad rap (like me) for too many years now after the Blackfish movie. Maybe people should get their facts straight and realize what Seaworld Parks and their conservation program actually does. Having orcas in a setting such as SeaWorld is akin to having animals in a zoo. A very emotional issue. But if SeaWorld had not brought us face to face with these magnificent creatures, would we care so much about them today?
