My sister and Gabe bought my mom a new dishwasher for Christmas, which was delivered over a week ago. However, they didn’t pay for installation, so it’s just been sitting here because Gabe said he would come to install it. I decided to go ahead and try to do it myself, but it turned out to be more complicated than I expected, so I figured he should follow through and do it since that was the original plan. When I asked my mom when he’d come, she said he was off work next week—but it turns out he’s actually been off for the past five days. It’s frustrating because my mom goes out of her way for them almost every day, yet he can’t make time to come over and handle this simple project.
