Good Trouble

My affection for Good Trouble knows no bounds. It goes beyond a mere soap opera with its courageous themes, characters and innovative storytelling format. Not only is it daring in its political stance, but it radiates a relentless spirit of positivity and hope, almost as if the world is viewed through rose-tinted glasses. The balance between the intensely emotional storylines and those which are lighthearted and comical, creates an atmosphere that is electric yet relaxed. As we immerse ourselves further into their personal lives, mesmerizing charisma seduces us while maintaining the profoundness of the plotline. The theme song, Kim Bingham's "Bel Ami," will be stuck in your head for a long time. Above all else, Good Trouble prides itself in being truly representative of our society today, where tokenism has no place. Reflecting reality without sacrificing its sweetness – as The Fosters did – Good Trouble is precisely the type of show that we need right now.
