Leap Year?

Leap years add an extra day to our calendars every four years, which might seem like a weird way to keep track of time. But when you think about it, who came up with the idea that we need a bonus day to make up for the Earth going around the sun? It's like we're adjusting things just because. This messes up our usual yearly routine, and we don't even get a bonus holiday – we just have to deal with a longer February. Sure, leap years make sense in science, but in our everyday lives, they can feel a bit unnecessary and, well, kind of silly.
