Letters

About a year ago, my old therapist Leah had me write letters to everyone I felt I had something to say to but never did. She said I could give or send the letters, or simply keep them as a way to process my feelings. Today, I decided to reread those letters, and a year later, I still feel the same way about a lot of things. So, I think I’m actually going to email some of them to the people I haven’t spoken to in ages. I’m not expecting any replies, though I have a feeling I’ll get a few anyway. When I do, my goal is simple: to resist responding. For me, sending the letters will be my own closure, no matter what comes next.
