My friend Melissa and her three kids, Ella, Baylor, and Crew, came from Arizona to visit me for a couple of days. We went to SeaWorld, which was super crowded and hot. The kids and I went on Journey to Atlantis, the biggest coaster they had ever been on. Ella loved it, but Baylor, who was sure he’d ride all the rides with me, didn't enjoy it as much! Despite that, we still had a good day, even though it didn’t last long. That evening, we watched a few episodes of the Chucky show while the baby and Baylor slept. The next day was spent packing them up, and then we went swimming at my sister’s house, where she made us delicious Butter Beers. I got totally sunburnt, but it was all worth it, as they are only the second people to visit me in the seven years I have been in San Diego (besides Sheila and Paul). I’m thankful they made the trip.
