Moulin Rouge

Yesterday I met one of my best friends Sheila. We met almost after not seeing each other over 6 years in front of the Pantages theater where we were to see Moulin Rouge. I drove 3 hours in traffic from San Diego to get there after I won lottery tickets. When I saw her a warm feeling, a very warm feeling and all of sudden all the flash backs runs through your minds. And this is the feeling, you just want to hold on for a long long time. :) I thought I would cry, but I was a bit deshelled after changing my clothes in the car and running up the street to meet her after spilling cigarette water all over the outfit I brought. The moment I saw her all our memories were in my mind. How we started talking, the first sentence she said to me on the very first day of college, how he became besties, her wedding, her kids, happy hours, plays, etc etc.

After hugging each other, we walked across the street and got a drink before the show. I rambled a lot, but it was so good to see her. I have missed her a lot. I guess friendship is not about hanging around together or talking to each other for long hours (but we did before the intervention). After a few minutes I felt pretty good, even though I was saying a lot. I know we have a bond and I feel great around her. I hope she felt the same and I hope I made the right choice to stay in San Diego and not go back to LA. Life is hard!
