Ofrenda

In memory of my grandmother, I created an Ofrenda for the Day of the Dead. The idea came from the sugar skulls I saw at the dollar store, which stirred my interest and curiosity. After reading about the meaning and watching Coco,(you should watch it!) I was moved to tears. An Ofrenda is meant to honor those who have passed away, so I added pictures of my aunt Debbie (who died eight years ago),my Grandpa, my Nonna, my Mom's Aunt Betty and her husband Richard (mine too), her Grandparents, my Grandpa Joe, my friend Ryan, and my good friend Sharon Mesker. As I look at each picture, I can't help but feel grateful for every moment I had shared with them.
