Oz Always

The Wizard of Oz is a classic movie that I looked forward to watching every year as a child. There are so many Wizard of Oz life lessons to be had. Whenever I'm feeling bad, I watch it again. It NEVER disappoints!

The movie ends with a fantastic message, laced with symbolism throughout. There are a myriad of hidden metaphors that can be applied to developing our inner strength as we move along our journey in finding our authentic selves.

The overall message is: “Everything you were looking for was right there with you all along.”

I absolutely love this. On this journey called life, we’re often taught to look outside ourselves that we forget the power that lies within us. Everything we ever need is contained within.
