Reversible Poem
I saw a Honda commercial today and thought it was so clever how they read the same statements forward and then backward, each time giving them a different meaning. Curious, I looked it up and found out it’s called a reversible poem. The lines are carefully crafted so that the message makes sense and flows in both directions, often changing the tone or meaning depending on how you read it. Check it out!
You won't remember my name
this is the last time
you will see me at the top
I want to carry on
But not today
This is the point where I give up
This is the point where I give up
But not today
I want to carry on
you will see me at the top
this is the last time
