Selfish

It is selfish to try to stop someone else from committing suicide. Most people aren’t ready to hear that. They think that by reaching out last minute to stop them from ending it all is in some way them helping, When in actuality that suicidal person needed help long ago. If you really look at it, in a way the person trying to stop them is only trying to stop them to feel better about themselves. And anyone who says it isn’t selfish to try to stop someone else from doing that probably has never actually wanted to kill themselves. But that does not mean that commiting suicide isn’t any less selfish. As someone who at one (okay several) points wanted to end their own life, but now after finding the path I needed to take? Dont. both sides are extremely selfish. One just more so than the other.
