I zipped down to LA to catch Sheila’s play now that it’s officially up and running—no more preview limbo, this was the real deal. I’d seen the earlier version about a month ago, so I figured I knew what I was walking into, but nope. Same story, yes, but they shuffled scenes around, tightened everything up, and suddenly it all just clicked. Like, wow, who knew a few well-placed edits could work such magic? The lighting was sharper, the costumes had a little more flair, and the whole thing just felt... elevated. Sleek. Theater with its act together.
