Some Like it Hot
Last night, I saw the tour of Some Like It Hot, and it was absolutely awesome—so old-school Broadway! The singing and tap dancing were incredible, the kind of big, flashy musical energy that just fills you with joy. What really stood out to me was the storyline—two men disguise themselves as women to escape the bad guys, but one of them ends up loving it and actually wants to stay a woman. He even gets proposed to—and accepts! By the end, they’re together, which I found really interesting. It made me wonder if the original 1959 film with Marilyn Monroe had the same ending, so I did some Googling, and surprisingly, it does! Now I definitely need to watch it.
