The other day, my mom watched the new SpongeBob movie, Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie, with my nephews. She was totally baffled by the weird characters and wild plot twists. I teased her, saying the show is really about drugs—SpongeBob on meth, Patrick as a stoner, and Squidward on heroin. She didn’t believe me, so I told her to look it up before stepping outside for a cigarette. When I came back, she was glued to her phone and had to admit I was right. Of course, this is all speculation and rumors, but it’s funny how things can get twisted. I personally thought the movie was fantastic! It was the most-watched film of the week with 12.8 million views. Go Wanda Sykes!
