Witnessed an exhilarating play tonight—unusual for me, as I usually prefer musicals. This one, set in the 1830s, gripped me. It revolves around a woman who, despite her unconventional profession, turns the tables by writing a book exposing others, only to be blackmailed herself. Yet, in a surprising twist, she emerges victorious, rising to fame and wealth, while her adversaries face disgrace.
